Welcome to our Dance Family!
Are you looking for a new activity where you can combine exercise with meeting new people? Try Swing dancing!
The San Diego Dancers Meetup offers you the opportunity to meet new people--both singles and married couples--who share the same interest and passion for dancing--and have a desire to learn how to dance. We are a group of active individuals who love dancing, and most of all, HAVING FUN!!! All ability levels are welcome to our events. No partner needed!
We provide "friendly" dance venues where you can dance to a variety of music ranging from West Coast Swing to East Coast Swing to Night Club to Latin and Ballroom.
Our commitment is to help create a "safe" atmosphere that encourages dancers--both singles and married couples--to put time, energy, and love into their Swing, Night Club, Latin and Ballroom dancing. Besides our scheduled dances, we also provide resources for current dance classes for those who want to learn how to do swing dance or want to improve their dancing skills. We are also honored to have Mary Manzella on board as our "official" Dance Director. As a National Swing Dance Champion and past judge at National Swing Dance competitions, she brings a wealth of dancing knowledge to our group.

This class is now in the main hall of the North Park Lion's Club so there is plenty of space for everyone! Come learn one of the most fun, expressive, and highly connected dances out there with All Star West Coast Swing dancer Mark Pablo and his partner Liza Marians. West Coast Swing is very popular in San Diego and beyond with many places to go dancing. It can be done to pop, R&B, blues, country, hip hop, oldies, rock, and more. We teach the fundamentals of swing connection and a variety of useful patterns to use on the social dance floor. All levels welcome; we've got something for everyone! We will separate the class into 2 groups if needed to aid in learning at your level.

Join Country Two-Step award winner Liza Marians and her partner Mark Pablo for this fun and useful dance class to take your Country Two-Step to the next level. Learn basic patterns and variations as well as connection, leading & following skills, and the basic rhythm of the dance. All levels welcome; we've got something for everyone! The space is huge with a wood floor and air conditioning! Wear shoes with a smooth sole; cowboy boots are fine.
