Sweetwater River in Rancho San Diego

4.5miles, 200ft ascent. No hazards.
We'll visit the Sweetwater River Trail, starting near a historic 1929 bridge that used to carry California Highway 94 over the river. The trails are mostly level, but there are a few rough hilly spots. We've done this hike before, most recently on 9/7/23. https://www.meetup.com/sandiegodayhikers/events/295895009

Take water, sunscreen, a hat and a snack.
Leashed dogs are allowed. There are no rest rooms.

Directions: Take Highway 94 east to Jamacha Junction, where it turns right to follow Campo Road. Turn right and cross the Sweetwater River, then turn right into Millar Ranch Rd. and then right again into the parking lot.
