Noble Canyon - Pine Valley

4.5miles 500ft ascent. No hazards.
Description:
Get away from the city on this very pretty shorter hike in Cleveland National Forest. A rocky start then a moderate ascent. Then trail is mostly sandy. High temperature only 69º.

Directions:
Take I-8 East to exit 45 towards Pine Valley and turn left. At the stop sign turn left onto Old Hwy 80 towards Julian. At 1.1 miles after crossing a bridge turn right onto Pine Creek Rd. Go 1.5 miles and turn right at the Noble Canyon trailhead sign (partially obscured). Follow road to parking area.
*** An Adventure pass - $5 - (or America the Beautiful) is required for parking. Digital passes can be purchased here https://www.recreation.gov/pass

Amenities:
A vault toilet is available. Dogs on leash permitted. Wear layered clothing and take a hat, water, sunscreen and a snack. Cell service mostly non-existent.

If you wish to carpool (driver or rider), meet at the Los Coches ParknRide, 13516 Camino Canada, El Cajon. I will leave there at 8:45am.
