City of San Marcos Annual Trails Day

Saturday, June 7 | 9 a.m. (Sign-in at 8:30 a.m.)
Join us for a guided hike, ride, or walk as we explore the beauty of San Marcos' parks and trails. This year, you can:
• Take on a challenge by joining our Rangers for a 5-mile hike to Double Peak Park and back via the Double Peak Trail, featuring over 1,000 feet of elevation gain.
• Enjoy a scenic 5-mile bike ride around the Discovery Trails and South Lake.
• Take a leisurely 1-mile interpretive walk, where you’ll discover the diverse flora of Discovery Lake and their adaptations and historical usages.
Come celebrate the great outdoors with us!
Event Timeline:

• Sign-in/Booths Open: 8:30 am
• Welcome: 9:00 am
• Double Peak Hike: 9:30 am
• Bike Ride to South Lake 9:35 am
• Interpretive Hike: 9:40 am
