Ruffin Canyon from Costco

3.5miles 400ft ascent. Hazards - none.
From the Costco on Friars Rd, we take the tunnel under Friars Rd., meander through the Escala townhomes to the trailhead. Then along the recently re-opened Ruffin Trail that has been moved from the valley floor up the hillside and on to Taft Middle School. Then back the same way.
This is a much easier hike than the one we did on 5/24 where we encountered miles of large riverbed stones.

No restroom but lots of commerce nearby. Leashed dogs OK.
