UCSD Tour - urban walk

Overview: An urban walk. Mostly sidewalk, some dirt trails. Distance about 7 miles. Duration about 2:30 This is not a casual stroll!! We'll be walking briskly, about 3.2 mph. Fairly flat. Route map in "Photo" section below.
Route: We'll start at the Torrey Pines gliderport; into UCSD. Visit the famous central Library, many sculptures, eucalyptus groves, and lots of interesting buildings. Should take around 2 1/2 hours.
Start time: Meet at 8:00am, start walking promptly at 8:05am.
Where: Gliderport Cafe. 2800 Torrey Pines Scenic Dr
Parking: Free parking in Gliderport parking lot.
Restrooms: Should be some during the walk.
