Are your ad hominems on a runaway train being driven by red herrings leading you down a slippery slope appealing to authority, or are you just begging the question?

Especially during election time, the use and abuse of logical fallacies run rampant. Each year, the Humanist Association of San Diego reviews common logical fallacies, the structure of logic and how to inoculate yourself against such misappropriations of conversation.

There is going to be 45 minutes of presentation followed by 45 minutes of discussion.
