Although the event begins at 18:00, most people tend to arrive after 19:00. There is usually just a small group until that time.

Please RSVP if you plan on coming so we know how many people to expect.

Every week, we get together for an informal session, where you can come to practice English or Japanese, socialize about culture, study, or just sit back and relax. All skill levels are welcome! New people show up every week, and we all have a great time. Please be sure to order some food and/or drink so we will continue to be welcomed there.

Do not be discouraged from coming if you see a small number of RSVPs. There are many people who attend regularly and never RSVP (despite getting their hands slapped repeatedly for this). Typical attendance at these is 30 to 45 people.

After 21:00, those who wish to, go together to a nearby restaurant to grab some dinner. Usually this means Chinese, Korean, or even Japanese food!

Note that this is not a dating meetup. Please refrain from engaging in any behavior that might make someone feel uncomfortable. Our purpose here is to share our love of Japanese culture, and we strive to make this a comfortable environment for all involved.
