6:00pm: The Joya-E (除夜会) service is held on the last day of the year and presents an opportunity to reflect upon and express gratitude for the past year in preparation for the coming new year. It is a time to think about the interdependency of all life and to ponder the casues and conditions that enabled us to live through the year. The service is held at Buddhist Temple of San Diego @ 2929 Market Street, San Diego, CA 92102
