Angular Monthly Meetup

Details

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Starting in February, sign ups will only be located here on SDJS and through Women Who Code.

We're very excited to have Alain Chautard visiting this month from Sacramento. He'll be giving a talk for the whole hour. This is definitely not a Meetup you want to miss!

Topic: Directives are easy!

In the old Angular JS days, directives were a complex, scary thing to write. Fortunately for us, things have changed with Angular and directives are now an easy thing to do. In this talk, we’re going to see how to create directives and what different features make it a really nice and easy experience.
We'll also take a look at a few creative use cases for directives.

About The Speaker:
Alain is a Google Developer Expert in Web Technologies / Angular. His daily mission is to help development teams get started and become fluent with Angular. He provides consulting, coaching, and on-site training to clients all around the world.

He is the organizer of the Google Developer Group chapter in Sacramento, California, an international conference speaker, and published author of several video courses.

About Angular San Diego:
San Diego Angular Meetup and Women Who Code meet the third Wednesday of each month. Each month we will have one or two talks that cover Angular or general Web UI/UX topics. Afterwards we open the floor for lightning talks any audience member wants to give. Everyone is welcome to these meetups whether you are an Angular expert or just heard about Angular for the first time in this post.

Schedule:
6:00pm - 6:20pm Network and Food
6:20pm - 6:30pm Welcome and Introductions
6:30pm - 7:45pm "Directives are Easy!" by Alain Chautard
7:45pm - 8:00pm Networking and Mingling

We want to give everyone an opportunity to speak at these Meetups. If you are interested in giving a talk in the future, please reach out to us using Meetup messages or in person at one of the Angular Meetups.
