San Diego Quantum Computing

Let's kick off the meetup by collectively learning how to program quantum computers. We will introduce the fundamentals of quantum computing and show how Qiskit lets us build, simulate, and run quantum circuits in Python, starting with “Quantum Hello World” and then moving on to slightly more complicated examples. Along the way, we will explain core concepts like qubits, gates, and measurement, and demonstrate how abstract quantum ideas map to real quantum hardware and simulators.

Eugene Chuvyrov is a software engineer on the Innovation team at ServiceNow where he's building proof of concept solutions with a set of futuristic technologies. Quantum computing has been his primary focus over the past 12 months.
