Loving Kindness Retreat: Join us for a weekday overnight retreat near Atlanta from March 3–5 with Venerable JinHe, visiting from Dharma Realm Buddhist Association Malaysia. For those unable to stay overnight, daytime participation on March 4 is also an option!

Through guided teachings and contemplative practice, learn how to heal from the inside out and cultivate lasting happiness and joy through loving-kindness—rather than relying on external conditions.
The retreat will take place at Red Top Mountain State Park in Acworth, GA. Registered participants will receive further location details closer to the event.

This volunteer-run retreat welcomes participants ages 18 and up, from all backgrounds and experience levels. Lodging is offered at cost, and donations are deeply appreciated to help support retreat logistics and dāna for our monastics.

Scholarships: We are offering overnight lodging scholarships for college students and recent graduates under age 30! All cost are covered if you are a young adult with wholesome intentions, no experience needed.

Daytime Only Option: We are also accepting one day participation on March 4th, there is no charge, but please register to receive details.

Venerable JinHe will also be leading Emory Buddhist Club on Thursday March 5.

About our Buddhist monk, Venerable Jin He:
Venerable JinHe was ordained in the Mahāyāna Buddhist tradition at the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas, California, in 2011. He resided and practiced at the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas and the Berkeley Buddhist Monastery before returning to Malaysia in 2021.

Well-versed in both the Theravāda and Mahāyāna Buddhist canons, Venerable JinHe currently lectures on the Medicine Master Buddha Sūtra, Heart Sūtra, and Platform Sūtra of the Sixth Patriarch, and leads a study on Understanding Pure Land through the Noble Eightfold Path.

He serves as an instructor for the Diploma of Buddhism program (Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka), and is the resident Dharma teacher for Sam Poh Thong Temple (Malaysia) and Avalokiteśvara Yuan Tong Monastery (Australia).

Venerable JinHe holds a Bachelor of Business in Economics and Finance from RMIT University, and a Master of Arts in Buddhist Studies from the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka.
