Murphy Candler Park Loop

I love walking here. This is a mostly dirt and gravel path with wooden bridges around the lake and through the trees. The larger loop is supposed to be 1.6 miles. we will walk it twice for 3.2 miles. It's mostly flat but there is one section going up and down a slope. The park has been here for some time. So there is a combination of old and new. So be careful when walking. It's fun to swing in the swings overlooking the lake. There probably won't be anyone in them in the morning. But those will likely be resting spots. Bathrooms are by the baseball fields in block buildings. We're meeting at the corner of Candler Lake and West Nancy Creek Drive by the Kiwanis International Plaque about the park. If you get to the sign with the map, I can find you there. It's within sight.
