Nancy Creek Trail Partial Walk Loop
Details
Special for the Holiday! Walk Nancy Creek Trail Walk through Blackburn Park. This one has Forested areas, urban houses, recreational activities such as baseball and tennis. Bathrooms by a playground. It's about 2 miles walked once and 4 twice. I'm going to go for four, but feel free to drop out after one. We're turning around at the end of Blackburn Park and not quite make the loop in full sun but rather just walk past the bathrooms. But I'll work on a longer walk down the entire length. Bathrooms are in Blackburn Park. We walk right past the ones in the lower Playground. Up by the Peace Child Statue, to the bathrooms, up to Johnson Ferry, down to Durden then back up the train past Central Park to where we started. Street Parking is available, but you could take Marta, walk the rail trail, then up Keswick to Johnson Ferry, the down Durden Drive to get to the meet up. There is some hill but we'll do the winding pathway to mitigate its effects. Part of the trail looks like the picture with the rest being mostly athletic fields, green areas, and part of it is businesses.
