Brook Run Park Walk September 20th
Details
The service I'm going to is at night on the 20th, so I can fit in one more walk. It's still relatively hot at the beginning of Autumn in Atlanta, so we can do 9AM. I'll monitor the weather patterns for Autumn and we may go back to 10 AM soon. So consider this the end of Summer walk. This is a fun paved walking trail. Other walking groups walk this and say that the paved trail is 1.8 miles. We'll walk it twice. This is in Dunwoody down the road from Sandy Springs, but close. We're meeting at the North Peachtree Rd Entrance. There is a large parking lot to the left. I have walked this one before and I've gone to festivals at this park. The address is 4770 North Peachtree Rd · Dunwoody, GA. There is an Episcopal Church across the road from the entrance we'll be using. We'll meet in the parking lot near the trail. Feel free to message me about any questions you may have. You get to see natural features, sports being played, etc. This is a good park to be at. Also this was until recently the home of the Kosher BBQ festival which moved over to across the street from Perimeter Mall. So far the Atlanta chili cook off appears to still be here.
