Backgammon Chouette / Team Game

This is your chance to combine your love of backgammon with your desire for socializing. A chouette is a team backgammon game, essentially a "king of the hill" for backgammon. One player (called the box) plays against a team of the rest of the players, and remains box as long as the box keeps winning. When the box loses, the box goes to the end of the line and the captain of the team becomes the new box. While most chouettes are for money, we play just for fun.

This is a great game regardless of your skill level. The better players can make suggestions, the weaker players might learn from them. But after hearing all the advice, the captain makes the final decisions! Can the wisdom of the crowd dethrone the king?
