First Annual Central Florida Spring Backgammon Tournament

Ready to test your backgammon skills in a friendly competition? It's our club's third backgammon tournament!

There is no entry fee! And therefore no prize money. The winner will get a medal to keep, and bragging rights for 3 months until we do this again.

Due to time limitations, the tournament will be single elimination matches, 3 points for the first round, 5 points thereafter. You will need to know how the doubling cube works, and what the Crawford rule is.

In the likely event that we don't have a perfect bracket of exactly 8 or 16 players, the players who have performed the best in our previous tournaments will receive byes. Future quarterly tournaments will work the same way, so come and try to get some wins under your belt.

Please be prompt. Those who are not present at 6:00 will not play, since we need to pick and fill the bracket depending on turnout, and play multiple rounds to determine a champion.

Please bring your board. Pencil and paper for keeping score will be provided. Full rules and regulations will be available at the event. Message me if you have any questions.
