Weather and will determine our route. Approximately 8 miles with some good elevation/exercise. We will hope for sweeping ocean views and, if weather is appropriate, a short lunch stop at West Point Inn.
Early start means easier parking, cooler day and fewer people on the trail.
End time approximate. Pace approximately 2.4 mph average (moderate and steady)

If, by chance Mountain Home Inn parking lot is full, there is PLENTY of parking both before (west side of Panoramic) or after (up towards the fire station- ALWAYS check this site the morning of the hike in case of change due to weather, air quality or whim
- RSVP only if you truly intend to come (esp important on small group hikes)
- Keep RSVP current.
- A note to leader if you have to cancel is appreciated.
- Arrive on time for an on time start.
- If you are in the lead you will end up waiting at trail junctions. We also stop at bridges and often enjoy a healing/restorative stretch. If you are in the back, you will be asked to do your best to keep up with the group and at waiting points.
