Enjoy the Marcom Rose Garden in Oakland while getting some good morning exercise. We will create our own par course!
We go up the long stairway (102 stairs) as many times as we can handle, interspersed with guided exercises for strength, posture, balance, flexibility using creative/effective movements.
This is a full body workout and a great way to start the day and to cross train for hiking.
We will use the rail along the mother of the year path to do modified push ups and pull ups, band exercises for lats, rotator cuff, etc.
Our focus is on movement and exercise. If you love gym exercises but would rather do them outside, this morning exercise session is for you.

- When you RSVP on the Sierra Club site, you will see more info and this is important :-)
- RSVP only if you truly intend to come.
- Keep your RSVP current - this is a small group and you are reserving a spot
- This event will most likely repeat on Aug 5 and priority will be given to those who attend on July 29.
