Jack's Peak 2B Dayhike

Details

Synopsis: Join Steve Bakaley on a leisurely - moderately paced hike in the beautiful scenic piney ridges of Jack's Peak County Park near Monterey. We'll be doing the entire perimeter of the park with views of Monterey Bay to the north and Carmel Valley to the south. The hike is largely in the forest but does include some exposed areas.

If you wish to hike fast and return early, this is probably not the hike for you. Mellow tolerant hikers welcomed. There are options for those who want to cut the hike short but they will need a trail map and a good sense of direction because not all junctions are marked.

This is not an easy hike. It rollercoasters and has some steep uphill sections.
