Santa Barbara County Farm Day - Free Farm Tours sponsored by Seeag

This day of free family friendly farm tours is sponsored by SEEAG (Students for Eco-Education and Agriculture) whose mission is to connect students and community members to the farm origins of their food and to the people who grow it. Through free, hands-on educational programs, they aim to inspire the next generation to value agriculture, nutrition, and environmental stewardship.
Farm Day is a FREE event where local farms, ranches, wineries, and agricultural organizations open their doors to the public for tours, produce tastings, and family-friendly activities. The event is completely self-guided — explore the Farm Day Trail Map and visit any of the participating locations at your own pace. I (Gerri French) will not available to attend this year but hope you do.
With more than 15 locations in each county to choose from, Farm Day offers something for everyone. Join us to learn where your food comes from, connect with the people who grow it, and experience the vibrant world of agriculture right in your own backyard.

The farms are use a mix of conventional, organic and regenerative practices. There is much opportunity to learn about how food is grown and support local farmers that care about our soil and your health and grow your own food also.
