Dear Food Lovers,

Please join me for another dinner party! We had a full house last time with a wait list and I see the great comments so I think this group is a success! We had a great time meeting and getting to know one another as we talked about food and had Summerland Winery winemaker, Etienne, and Marketing Manager Jordi come and explain the wines and pairings. It was fantastic! A photographer took shots for Food and Home Magazine, so check out the next issue! I will post the menu from the evening on the site so you can see the full details. I had followed a theme, "An Invitation into the Garden" and on one of the courses we had 8 root vegetables sectioned off so we could discriminately discern the differences in tastes and textures with each...things like, what is the difference in taste between a roasted turnip and rutabaga? Between a carrot and parsnip? etc. I served this with a spinach basil pesto and a gorgonzola drizzle on the side.

I plan for the 18th of February another sit down epicurean 4 course, maybe 5 courses depending on the timing and my final choices of what I will serve that evening. I will be investigating new thoughts for new recipes and the latest in food trends to serve you all what I hope will be a fantastic cutting edge dining experience!
