Tunnel Trail from the top

I will lead this hike and the the trailhead is easy to find. Generally considered a moderately challenging route. Weather looks perfect with cool temps and sunny clear skies. This is a popular trail for hiking and walking with some great views up and down the coast. Please remember your hiking shoes, poles, hat, water and sunscreen. Sorry, no dogs. Directions: From Santa Barbara, take Foothill Rd to Mountain Dr. Continue for 4 miles to Gibraltar Road. Drive up Gibraltar Rd about 7.8 miles until you reach the 2nd intersection with E Camino Cielo, where Gibraltar Road drops down the other side. Stop and park.
