Hike Stevens park and Jesusita Trail

Details
Let's go on a hike!
We'll be meeting at Stevens Park, there is a small parking lot and then a short walk to a playground where we will meet.
The first section is a 1 mile hike and 250 ft elevation gain to where the trail connects to Jesusita trail, then another 1.3 miles and 420 ft elevation gain to Moreno Ranch, where we will turn around. Total mileage will be about 4.6 miles roundtrip, 670 ft elevation gain.
This is a moderately-easy hike, with a fairly gentle grade and a couple of steeper hills. Wear good shoes, bring plenty of water, and a snack if desired. There are a few creek crossings, but there's not much water in them right now. Bring hiking poles or a walking stick if you need extra stability.
The hike will take 2 - 2 1/2 hrs. This is a dog-friendly hike, feel free to bring your pup, as long as they are friendly with other dogs, which we are sure to encounter on the trail.
