My philosophy toward product management, design, and user research is continually evolving and built upon a foundation that emphasizes developing shared understanding among the team and encouraging experimentation. I ascribe to agile principles that value communication, collaboration, and flexibility over rigid structure. I believe in integrating the entire product lifecycle into decision-making, which means involving internal and external stakeholders across different functional groups. The ultimate goal is to deliver the most impactful end user experience possible and, in doing so, creating the highest value product possible.

11 exciting years in product management, software development, and leading large cross-functional teams to bring successful products to market. My passion is solving real market problems that have a measurable impact on the business.

I love every aspect of product design and building strong metrics framework to learn and adapt quickly. I heavily rely on tools like Intercom.io, Mixpanel, Google analytics, HeapAnalytics, Invision, Usertesting.com etc to ensure I am always ahead of the user needs.

My first failed startup taught me valuable business and leadership skills which I now try to apply to everything I do. I enjoy mentoring, speaking at product conferences, and hosting meet-ups so don't hesitate to reach out anytime.

Cynthia Rodriguez

Product Manager, InTouch Health

Growing up, I had a knack for art and writing. When I went to college, I studied science. At the end of college, I started managing people. I was curious about the world around me and my interests were wide in scope. I was not sure what I wanted to be “when I grew up”. My parents came to this country as immigrants from El Salvador and I was a first-generation high school and college graduate. Their love and support was never-ending, but they were not sure how to guide me to the right path since they had had a completely different path. All I knew was that I wanted to solve problems and I sought out varied disciplines.

I pursued many of my interests at full force: writing, healthcare startups, technology, coding… before finding out I could merge these. When I started my career at InTouch Health as a Product Manager, it allowed me to utilize all the skills I had learned and satiate my curiosity.

I look at Product Management as a science. Running through a product’s lifecycle you go through the general scientific method: study and observe to accumulate domain knowledge then come up with a question (problem) and a hypothesis (solution). Product Management goes a step further and asks you to iteratively innovate based on your results. My love of problem-solving has fueled my passion for Product Management and continues to make me eager to learn more about this field.
