National Trails Day- West Fork Cold Spring Trail

Join the Forest Service, County, City and a host of amazing local trail volunteer groups Saturday, June 3, 2017 in the maintenance of West Fork Cold Spring Trail. Bring a bike helmet if you have one, long sleeves/pants and gloves, water bottle and snack. LUNCH PROVIDED! (Vegetarian options included). See attached flyer and/or details below.

1. Meet at 8:30 AM at Skofield Park for sign in, safety talk, grouping. Carpool to trail.
2. At trail we will dispurse tools and head to work sites. Leaders will guide volunteers on how to fix or establish water drainage, repair portions of trail, cut back brush, or remove fallen limbs. Work until 1:15/1:30. Carpool back to Skofield for lunch.
3. Lunch, drinks and dessert provided at Skofield Park.

This is not only a fun group to work with, but an opportunity to give back to your community and support some well loved trails. Please contact Mandy at 564-5436 with any questions.
