Join a few trail volunteers to brush trail corridors at La Purisima State Historic Park in Lompoc Valley. Our focus will be on the Arca de Agua Trail. It is overgrown, and we will trim the brush to create a standard-width opening.

We will meet inside the State Park at 2295 Purisima Rd, Lompoc, CA 93436. Look for our group in the unpaved area west of the parking lot.

Arrive by 8:15 am for the tool and safety talk at 8:30 am before we begin our project. Pack water and snacks for the day. We will work until noon or so and then go to lunch at a nearby restaurant.

Trails Council and State Parks will provide loppers for trimming brush. Please wear sturdy shoes, long pants, eye protection, gloves, and dress for the weather.

All participants must sign a Trails Council waiver to participate in this project. All abilities are welcome. We will provide all tools, supplies, and training.
