Please join a few trail volunteers to brush trail corridors on the Tunnelview and Underpass Trails at Gaviota State Park - on the Hot Springs side. The parking fee is $2 cash.

We will meet at the Northeast entrance to Gaviota State Park (Gaviota Peak / Gaviota Hot Springs Trailhead). From Hwy 101, Exit Hwy 1 -- at the stop sign, turn right and head to the trailhead. You can park on the sideroad if you do not want to pay the parking fee.

Arrive by 8:45 am for the tool and safety talk before we begin our project. Pack a lunch, water, and snacks for the day.

We will use loppers to trim shrubs along the trail edges and electric weed whips to mow the grass. Please wear sturdy shoes, long pants, eye protection, gloves, and dress for the weather. The forecast is overcast. High 66F.

All participants must sign a Trails Council waiver to participate in this project. All abilities are welcome. We will provide all tools, supplies, and training.
