Morning Stroll at Rio Del Mar Beach

Please Note: Start time on meetup is 9:45am AND we will start the beach stroll promptly at 10:00am.

Parking: There is free public parking in the beach lot. If the lot is full, you can drive a few blocks away from the beach on Aptos Beach Dr and then take a left to get to Moosehead Dr which is a one way street going in the direction of the beach. You can always find parking on Moosehead Dr within a few blocks of the beach.

Hey everyone! Let’s get out again and go for a walk along Rio Del Mar Beach. Feel free to bring your furry friends 🐶

We can meet at the restrooms next to the parking lot. This is at the bottom of the Rio Del Mar Blvd hill near the roundabout. I updated the map to reflect the exact location as some attendees are unfamiliar with this beach or where the restrooms are located. If anyone gets lost feel free to message me directly.

We will stroll for about hour along the beach in the direction of Monterey and then come back along the beach to arrive back where we started around noon.

If people want to get lunch afterwards, the Pixel Deli is right there less than a block from the parking lot with outdoor tables that have a view of the beach/ocean. You just order at the counter inside and then find a seat on the outdoor patio while your order is prepared.
