Soquel Demontration State Forest Flow Trail Ride

Details

Join us for a group ride on the awesome trails of Soquel Demonstration State Forest and the world-famous Flow Trail. This will be mixture of singletrack trails and some fire roads (and even a little pavement getting to the singletrack). Many of the hills are steep, and there are some more technical sections. If you are uncomfortable with any part of the technical sections, please feel free to walk them. Ride time will be 3+ hours, depending on average group speed. Please be aware that SDSF rules do not allow eBikes, so take that into account when picking your steed from the stable. I plan to do at least one lap, at about 2500' or more, but if anyone is crazy enough for a second lap, I'll make the trek with you back up Sulfur Springs to the helipad, and we can come back down and do a second climb back out. These trails are pretty intense climbs (some might say relentless) so please keep that in mind.

Please be aware that mountain biking can be dangerous. Always ride within your ability. All riders must wear a helmet. Gloves, hydration packs/bottles, snacks, sunscreen, insect repellant, spare tubes and a multitool are also recommended.
