Adventure in Aptos with a new start point

Join us for an awesome ride in the forest of Nisene Marks State Park. We will meet behind the parking garage of Cabrillo College in Aptos. From there we will make our way through some single track to the main fire road and begin our climb up into the woods for roughly 10 miles (we will take a few breaks). The apex of our trip will be by the entrance of Ridge Trail at Demo. However, our route will take us down the opposite side of the mountain through a series of single track trails ultimately connecting back on the main fire road at a much lower elevation. This will be about 25 miles in total with 3500-4000 feet of climbing. I plan to bring 4L of water and an extra snack. Please plan accordingly.

• Gloves, hydration packs/bottles, snacks, sunscreen, insect repellant, spare tubes and a multitool are also recommended.
