Re: [SC-WP-Meetup] Tonight's WordPress Meetup Agenda

I have been looking for an image gallery that will allow me to gridify and have company logos that can link to either their websites or an internal site profile.

Cleaner Gallery almost does this but fall short and won't allow me to add a URL link to the images.

It seems like something that should be easily done?  if anybody knows a plug in or way to do this let me know,

Hi Melody,
Here are some thoughts:
  • Doesn't WordPress offer a new, native shopping cart platform? I'd be interested to hear if anyone has experience with it.
  • Also curious how/if people are integrating Google+ on their sites, mixed with Facebook buttons.
  • Finally, I have a specific need for a slider plugin that will cycle through images that can have transparency. The website uses a full-screen background, and we want a sequence of panels to appear layered on top of the background image.
Thanks,
Matthew

Hi WordPress Fans:
We don't have a planned guest speaker tonight but welcome suggestions and want to encourage anyone who would be gracious enough to present.  How about 1/2 of the meeting for newbies and 1/2 for developers?   If we have no volunteers, we can create a quick list of topics and share insights and knowledge.  If you have something you'd really like to learn about, please let me know this morning and I will bring resources.
