FREE FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHT: Tarot & Astrology: Self-Fulfilling Prophecy?

Astrology and tarot are two methods used for prediction of the future--or the NOW. The stars ibn the heavens have been used for prophecy for thousands of years. Do either really work, or, if they do, is it merely self-fulfilling prophecy? Do we MAKE things come true? What are the differences in these two methods of discernment? Tarot cards are relatively recent, having come into existence around the 15th century, as a method of passing secre4ts of the universe encoded in cards that then the ignorant would use to play games and the enlightened could use otherwise. Yet, other methods of divination have long been used as well: throwing bones or shells, reading the dregs in teacups, for example. Tonight, we'll discuss differences and perhaps do some experiments with cards. This event is for those who cannot attend the art opening live in Santa Fe this same evening.
