Music is a universal form of communication that has the power to unite people from all races, nationalities. religions, etc. No matter what language you speak, music has the power to penetrate deep into a person's innermost essence.

As Alan Hovhanes said, "Music is a religious thing to me. It has much to do with striking the deeper part of the human being, the deeper feelings of the soul and mind, as well as uniting man with nature itself."

Tonight we will listen to various types of music in search of transcendence. John Coltrane's exploration of the link beteen astrology and music is also on the agenda.
