## The Art of Letting Go

## Tuesdays | 6:00 – 7:30 pm

COST: $10 - pay at the door

“Let it go.” We’ve offered and received this advice on countless occasions. And we know it is good advice. It makes perfect sense to drop the pain and move on.

Why then is it so difficult to do? Why do we struggle to let go of hurts and resentments, continually holding them in our hearts?
Clinging to our pain, we easily become trapped by the past and stuck in limited versions of ourselves. We seem doomed to repeat painful patterns of behavior and we lose sight of our Buddha nature – our actual potential for growth and transformation.
Fortunately, it doesn’t have to be this way. Change is possible. By applying Buddhist wisdom to our daily life, we can discover the freedom of letting go. We can learn to distinguish between inner and outer problems, reflect on the role of our own mistaken expectations, open our hearts to forgiveness, and discover a brand new source of happiness from within.
Each class includes a teaching, guided meditations, and discussion. Everyone is welcome! Since these drop-in classes are designed both as a series and as stand-alone classes, you are welcome to attend any time. No prior experience or commitment required.

There is no need to pre-register for this drop-in class. No one is turned away for lack of funds. Please contact admin@meditationinnewmexico.org in advance for financial hardship.
