Since 1974, Tomasita's has been the heart and soul of authentic Northern New Mexican cuisine. Family-owned and operated, they serve up the traditional recipes and are famous for their red and green chiles (which is hot; a warning is posted at the entrance). Their flan is some of the best in town! And the sopaipillas are legendary. Locals consistently vote their Margarita the best in town. There is a huge parking lot, they have a full bar, and we can pay separately. Tomasita’s Santa Fe is housed in the red-brick receiving station of the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad, built in 1904, and is now at 500 South Guadalupe Street.
