On the 26th, our poet-activist Maj-Britt Eagle leads a Big Discussion of Climate Change.
What’s happening to our Oceans? Forests? Weather? Food? Methane (permafrost, leakage from drilling) v. carbon dioxide? Farming? Species extinction? Relationship to land? to our clothes? Youth vs. Climate (Held v. Montana, Juliana v. USA)? to our food systems?
Share what we know and what we are learning ~ beyond the binary of feeling/thought ~ so how do we feel about what we know? Bring your book suggestions or short readings.

Some options: market-based incentives, “carbon neutral”, carbon tax?; geoengineering? Direct carbon capture? Change our life style e.g. from human centered to eco-centered?
"Climate change demands of us climactic change.” We have yet fully to admit it. Will we ever? How can we be serious about climate change?
