Santa Fe Liberation School

The Santa Fe Liberation School (SFLS) is an idea to cultivate a community of people who teach, educate, share and build towards an egalitarian world. We envision radical protests, workshops, trainings, skill sharing, mutual aid, solidarity campaigns, art-making, music, food, outreach and all the things that build resistance to authoritarian power and resilience to the converging crises of ecocide, genocide, colonialism, patriarchy, white supremacy, militarism, capitalism and techno fascism.

We seek to normalize the social revolutionary principles of accessibility, diversity, inclusion, autonomy, horizontalism, collectivism, free association, decentralization, gift economics, library socialism, solarpunk and other principles of social ecology which may have the power to free the people, save the planet and build a better world.

This Meetup space will act as a base for the exploratory group and those interested in helping to build this community. We will need safe and useful spaces, materials, resources and, of course, passionate people with something to share or give.

Please feel free to introduce yourself in the discussion space and tell us how you would like to help contribute to the project. Some people have skills to share, and others want to learn.

Do you have a skill to teach or share? Want to organize a swap meet? Want to teach a class on radical social justice principles? Want to lead a radical discussion group, book club or film club? Are you a graphic designer who can design flyers and info sheets? Are you a good writer or editor? Are you a coder, programmer or good with building websites? Are you an experienced counselor, therapist, social worker, yoga or meditation teacher? Do you have access to space or materials? Do you have experience organizing campaigns and volunteers? Are you a good cook, handyperson, or builder? Let us know what you can contribute.

SFLS will greatly appreciate donations of all kinds to help get it going and keep it running. Donations will help offset the cost of running this Meetup group and acquiring spaces and materials for events. Since SFLS will operate on a decentralized basis, we will rely on the passion of dedicated organizers and volunteers who will also greatly benefit from financial and material support. Your support is greatly appreciated and makes the revolution possible.
