Create a simple canvas drawstring tote/backpack and learn how to use a domestic sewing machine. In this introductory workshop, learn to use standard sewing machines, our Juki industrial sewing machine, and our Singer industrial walking foot sewing machine.

#### Please note:

  • This certification is an overview of sewing machine usage and basic principles for working with fabrics.
  • Note this class does NOT cover the Serger machines, that is a separate class.
  • Students 16 years of age and up can be unaccompanied; ages 12-15 must have a guardian also enrolled in the class. Minors must have parental permission and a signed waiver (ask us).

#### About the Instructor:

Rosanna Dill has a degree in Architecture and a Certificate in Fashion Design. She has been a motion picture costumer and an IT project manager and has been sewing for 50 years.
