Hike Sun Mountain

We’re back with a May hike for the mamas!
Meet us at the Sun Mountain trailhead on Old Santa Fe Trail for some disconnection from all the things that take up our brainpower at home/work, and reconnection with nature and our bodies! We will hike up and over Sun Mountain to Moon Mountain.

This is a moderate, 2.7 mile out and back trail with an elevation gain of 1,318 ft. There are some steep stretches and not a lot of shade, so bring plenty of water and sunscreen.

IMPORTANT: Please arrive on time. We’ll wait until 10:10am for any latecomers, and then we’ll head up. If youre running later than that, or you’re having trouble finding us, please text me at 207-751-7880. If it’s just a couple more minutes, we’ll be happy to wait if we know you’re coming.
