Attention all members of NMSPS!
The annual General Meeting (part of the 2026 NMSPS State Convention) will be held via ZOOM on Sunday, May 31 --this weekend! Please come for all or part of the 2:00-5:00 p.m. ZOOM meeting.
The business portion of the meeting will commence at 2:00 p.m. and is scheduled to end at 3:00 p.m. It will begin with the "State of the Society," followed by brief reports from the Executive Board, Chapter Chairs, and selected Appointed Officers who have important initiatives to present to the membership.
By the end of the business meeting, a few members will be acknowledged for superior efforts and accomplishments over the past year, followed by a brief period for the general membership to express thoughts and suggestions for the future of NMSPS.
The rest of the time (until 5:00 p.m.) will be devoted to an open mic for all members. You will soon be sent a more detailed agenda, the appropriate ZOOM links, and instructions for how to sign up for the open mic. Be sure to view any MailChimp or Email messages sent from NMSPS. There are exciting opportunities you'll want to know about.
Plus--All attendees will have preferential status for having their poems published in an NMSPS-members' Anthology titled Cadence! to be published in early 2027. More to come.
