A Winter Weather hike to Nambe Lake. This is a 6.5 mile hike to 11,400 feet altitude, about 1,800 feet gain. Although it is listed as moderate, some steep sections plus colder weather conditions will make this more likely to be a strenuous one. As always, layered clothing, water, food, and probably poles will be needed. We will car pool to the trail head at the ski basin. A section of the hike will be quiet to better connect with the environment (nature bathing). There will be two outing leaders for extra safety (Alan Shapiro).
