Arroyo Hondo Open Space Geocaching Hike

Would you like to learn more about geocaching? We'll hike some of the trails of the Arroyo Hondo Open Space as we search for multiple geocaches. The hiking will be about 2 miles, most on trail, but portions off-trail. The total elevation gain will about 250 ft.
Because this area has a lot of cactus there are some special considerations. First, no dogs. Please consider wearing heavier footwear to avoid the cactus spines. Also gloves may be a good idea.
PLEASE NOTE THE MEETING LOCATION: there are 2 trailheads to this area. We will meet at the one located near the end of the Old Agua Fria East/NM 38D. The coordinates are: 5.62320, -105.92177, NOT THE TRAILHEAD ALONG ARROYO HONDO RD./NM 38.
