Cabezon Loop Bike Ride Mountain/Gravel/E Bike

Enjoy this beautiful loop ride and bring the bike of your choice: Mountain, Gravel or an Electric Bike.
Meet at the intersection of San Luis and Pipeline Road at 9 am. We'll ride a 22mi loop route on backcountry roads around the iconic Cabezon Peak.
Expect a large variation of steepness and surfaces such as sand, rock, mud, etc.
Total mileage: approximately 22 mi
Total elevation gain: less than 1,252'
Mountain/E MTB or gravel bike recommended.

This is a ride for folks that are somewhat fit and have experience riding on such complex dirt surface.
Be sure to bring water&snacks, a warm layer and/or wind breaker, bike helmet and fix a flat tools including a working pump and spare inner tube.
Any precipitation 1-2 days prior or the day of this outing cancels the ride due to muddy to impassable conditions.
