Hike to the Top of the Quad Ski Lift at Santa Fe Ski Basin

We'll enjoy the cooler air with a hike up the ski hill. This 3 mile round trip gets us up to some nice views and provides a good workout going up, but easy striding coming down. Our route is entirely on ski area access roads, so no more than a moderate grade. The elevation gain is approximately 900'.
The weather can change quickly up there, so be sure to dress appropriately and carry a rain layer. Bring water and a snack for at the top.
Let's meet at the parking lot at the top of Murales Road behind Ft Marcy at 8:00 AM. We will only wait 5 minutes at this parking area, so please be prompt.
If you intend to carpool $3.00 is the usual donation to your driver. If you prefer to meet us at the Ski area, please advise me via RSVP here, or call me at 505-469-2131
A reminder about signing up for this hike or any of our outings: if after signing up you cannot go, please update your GOING to NOT GOING here on Meetup as soon as possible and not the morning before we leave to allow those on the waiting list to join. After multiple NO SHOWS you won't be allowed to go along on future outings.
