UPDATED Annual Ghost Walk!
Details
PLEASE READ EVERYTHING for info and instructions:
Boo!
I’m scared, excited, and ready for some creepy ghost stories. You?
Many of you have been on our annual Ghost Walk before and know it’s always a blast. Our regular guide, Alan, retired after our last walk 2 years ago, and after seven years of doing it, we took a break last year. But he’s coming out of retirement this year and has set up a fantastic tour! Starting at the San Miguel Mission and ending at La Posada, where he has booked the room Julia Staub was killed in, so we can go in and commune with her ghost (cue the all the feels).
THINGS TO KNOW:
1. The tour is 2 hours and covers a little over a mile.
2. The cost per person is $30 dollars. The cost does not include a tip, but Alan booked the room at La Posada for us to tour at his expense, and his fees probably mean he won’t make much of a profit. So please tip him if you can!
3. DO NOT sign up if you cannot go. ONLY sign up if you know for sure you can make it. RSVP’s will close on the 20th at 5 pm.
4. Payment will be due on the 21st, 4 days before the tour. I can take Paypal, Zelle, or Venmo. If you don’t pay by the 21st I will remove you from the list. If I know you and you drop me a note, we can work something else out if one of those options doesn’t work for you.
5. If you sign up and can’t make it, there are no refunds unless you have a really good reason. If you sign up and don't pay by the 21st, I will also remove you from the list.
6. In the past, the weather on these tours has been anything from warm and lovely to freezing cold. So dress in layers!
7. You can bring a guest/s but no one under 16, please.
8. Meet in front of the San Miguel Mission
9. Please drop me a note if you have any questions!
10. Check back, including on the day of, for updates or other instructions.
Feel free to wear a costume if you want to (but don’t feel like you have to)!
In the past, we’ve gone for drinks afterward. If enough people want to, we can stay at La Posada, where the tour ends, and grab a drink together.
