Pancakes on the Plaza Volunteers

Pancakes on the Plaza is flipping back into action. Every Fourth of July, the heart of downtown fills with the smell of sizzling pancakes, the sparkle of classic cars, rows of amazing local art, and thousands of smiling faces. It is not just a breakfast — it is the way Northern New Mexico celebrates Independence Day.

Be a part of the action and volunteer with Santa Fe Social as we help the Rotary Club of Santa Fe with their largest fundraiser of the year.

Please follow these instructions carefully:

1. Go to this website: https://www.pancakesontheplaza.com/volunteer/
2. Fill out your personal information, and please consider joining Rotary!
3. Under Organizational Affiliation/​“Team” Membership: type in Santa Fe Social. If you don't do this, you are likely to be placed in another group
4. Select your t-shirt size
5. If you previously volunteered for Pancakes, complete that info
6. Under Volunteer Opportunities, select July 4th, shift B1 - 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM. Yes, it's early, but it's not hot
7. Under preference, check: cooking, serving and supplies
8. Sign the waiver and submit your application

I will work with the Pancakes folks in Rotary and do my best to keep us together in the same cooking and serving tent.

Rotary is a tremendous force for good in Santa Fe. Profits from this year's Pancakes will help deliver $200,000 in grants over the next two years to support Santa Fe nonprofits making a real difference:

• The Sky Center — Suicide prevention for youth
• Gerard’s House — Expanding grief counseling with a new van
• Communities in Schools — Boosting support for students in need
• The Santa Fe Symphony — Bringing music education to more kids
