Steeped in Murder: A Tea and Tarot Mystery by Kirsten Weiss

Dear Santa Fe Tarot Tribe, and all our Bookish Diviners,

I've been looking forward to sharing this fun mystery, Steeped in Murder: A Tea and Tarot Mystery by Kirsten Weiss. However it is not in the public library. It is available on Kindle, currently for free.

The author is prolific in the number of series she has in the works. Kristen could keep us very busy reading her various mystery series. The Tea and Tarot Crozy Mysteries number 6 total, with the 6th expected on Valentines Day. Steeped in Murder is the first of the series, so we see the set of the entire series. "Abigail Beanblossum's dream of owning a tea room in her California beach town is about to come true. She's got the lease, the start-up funds, and the recipes. But Abigail's out of a tearoom, when she finds out the space has also been rented to a tarot reader and the realtor turned conman then turns up dead...." (The book includes tarot and scone recipes.)

We will look for Tarot references found in the book (or magic or divination or...). After discussing the book, we will do a tarot card spread based on what we gleamed from the book. Please bring your favorite deck. I am also letting folks know that I will be passing the hat as a means to help pay for the meet-up site. Any amount is fine (or none at all).

RSVP as soon as possible as space is limited to 8 (and that includes me). Please alert me if there is a change in your plans and you cannot attend. This will allow people on the waitlist to have a chance to attend.
Upon receipt of your RSVP and your email address, I will send you the notes and spread for the book a few days prior to our meeting, along with directions to my studio. It's okay if you don't finish the book, not finishing is a critique in and of itself sometimes. I'm excited to share this book with you.
