Calling all baseball/softball players, let's play ball! This co-ed club is for Santa Monica locals looking to play pickup games of baseball and softball. All skill levels and past experience welcome. Donations are appreciated so we can save up for better equipment. Get back into the game we all love and meet some great fellow baseball players and fans.
We are the most active softball Meetup group in the Santa Monica Area.
What started out of a random group of people has turned into a softball community. We are an active group with games nearly every month.
As a fair warning and safety precaution, new players joining us must be able to catch a ball in order to play.
Money earned by the group goes towards reservations of fields and equipment. We use top of the line bases, bats, and balls. We also pay to maintain a website to keep track of statistics for fun.

P.S. People that RSVP and decided NOT to show up or cancel late are not welcomed in the group and are removed.

Please Venmo $9 ($1 per inning) to @Joshua-Shikoff (cell phone ending in 0049) by Friday night before the game, or you could lose your spot. If you prefer to bring cash, let me know ahead of time.
Bring your own glove! And any other equipment you have! But we will have balls and bats. We have reserved a field at CLOVER PARK from 10:00AM - 12:00PM. So we know for sure we will get at least 2 hours to play! Please be warmed up and ready to play by 10:00 AM. First pitch is no later than 10:15 and no new inning after 12:15 pm.

RULES *Honor your RSVP! If you RSVP you are agreeing to make it to the session. Not showing up ruins the experience for everyone, so only RSVP if you can actually arrive. If something comes up, give us a heads up or simply switch your RSVP to not going. The event costs $9. $1 per inning :). This covers permit fees for the fields and Meetup costs. No profits are being taken. Venmo @Joshua-Shikoff to reserve your spot. No refunds (unless the event gets canceled). If you are a no show 2 times you will automatically be put onto the waitlist going forward.
If you break one of my bats, you will be liable for $50 to replace it. Swing at your own risk! Feel free to wear cleats, but try to avoid metal spikes as much as possible.
