What we’re about
Welcome to our "Literistas" fiction book club. We meet on the fourth Tuesday of every month at 1 pm at one of our houses (usually around Santa Rosa), and we focus on all genres of fiction. (Note: April meeting is on April 15 due to Easter holiday weekend.)
Since our April meeting is coming up fast, please feel free to join us April 15 without having read the book. We start with some social time with a spread of "noshes," then get into our discussion.
Although the description may show only 1 member (myself) attending, there are currently 8 of us who attend on a regular basis. We have been a group for about a year and lost a few members due to people moving out of town or family issues. So we are looking for a few women who want to commit to a monthly book club to round us out to about 12 regulars.
We rotate responsibility for hosting and being a discussion leader. Our discussions are usually open-ended, and we have occasionally had the author of the monthly book join us via zoom for part a discussion. We choose books in advance by consensus.
